RESCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2010.
Due to heavy snowfall in the area, my talk was rescheduled for February 7, 2010.
Please join me then for Let's Talk About Money!
Smart Marriages awarded this game it's 2009 top prize for teaching people how to talk about money in a peaceful, productive way. I've been invited to speak on this fun and enlightening game on February 7, 2010 at St. Luke's in Darien, CT.
St.Luke's writes in their bulletin:
In this ultimate shopping season, there's no better time to ask, "Am I a saver or a spender?" We all have habits and attitudes (habitues) about money that subconsciously influence decisions all day, every day. Those decisions, big and small, can help us reach our personal and financial goals or sabotage our best intentions. Money Habitudes is a game that reveals our habits and attitudes about money (often to our great surpirse!), and it's an easy and effective way for people to start talking about money in a non-threatening way. Winner of the 2009 Smart Marriages Impact Award, Money Habitudes is a simple little deck of cards that cracks the code and proves that if a couple can learn how to talk about money (with insight, understanding, and love) they can talk about (and do) anything. Candace Brindley, licensed Relationship Coach with the Relationship Coaching Institute will lead us in what promises to be a fun-filled and insightful Discovery Hour, not to be missed.
This will take place at 9:00 at St. Luke's Parish, 1864 Post Road, Darien, CT 06820
